It will definitely have to be the movie, Black Panther. Nothing can beat the beautiful description of Africa through Wakanda. Though it may not be real, I believe it strived to put Africa on the map and change the overall outlook of our wonderful continent from the mode of dressing, to the language, culture, and our way of life. It gave the afro-descendants a sense of identity and pride that is un-matched and made Africans feel they are stronger than they think they are.
I'm proud of my heritage because I'm proud of my heritage because of the people. Kenyans are resilient, we have been through so much as a country but we still always find a way to share light moments with our never-ending memes on social media and standing with each other when times get tough. The spirit of good neighborliness is what keeps us going.
Why do you think Diversity matters? It matters because we cannot live without each other. We are all blessed differently with abilities that work harmoniously for our greater good. If Africans took the opportunity to pull a united front, nothing could ever stop us. We need diversity online because nobody can tell our story better than us, those that have lived to see it, and those that heard stories from our predecessors. Its time for African Kings and Queens to take the stand.
