An experience that has really been proving to me that the narrative is changing is the tourism culture in Kenya. Travel and tourism for the longest time was associated with people coming in from other countries coming to enjoy the beautiful weather that is in the country otherwise known as summer bunnies. That however has changed as more Kenyans are now embracing the beauty of the land and that really raised the revenue collected from domestic tourism during the Covid-19 period. Part of my photography skill was nurtured in these trips because every destination ha its own unique experience and I get to tell of the beauty of diversity in our country.
I'm proud of my heritage because I am proud of my heritage because of its uniqueness and diversity yet we get to co exist as one
Biggest misconception people haveThe biggest misconception people have especially on Africa is the fact that we are an inferior continent who depend on the mercy and validation of other nations to survive but we actually are a very rich continent.
Why do you think Diversity matters?Imagine if all of us had the same facial structure, spoke the same language, ate the same food, lived in a borderless mass of land, that would be so boring. Diversity is what makes humanity the most beautiful thing that this world will ever have. The fact that we can co exist as different as we are is priceless
